New Zealand Offshore Services Limited (NZOS) has been continuously and progressively engaged in the New Zealand offshore industry since the late 1970’s.. As part of our development strategy, in July 2016, NZOS acquired an significant shareholding in UNIMAR Offshore Services Limited, one of New Zealand’s leading marine operations company’s which from 2005 has been providing a wide range of offshore support vessel options and salvage capabilities throughout the country and Pacific Islands. The combined entity is continuing its focus in providing highly efficient, safe and comprehensive local turnkey marine services; either as the vessel operator or as lead manager, drawing from its established database; providing fully certificated marine personnel across the spectrum; and offering associated logistics, supplies and victualling across the full range of OSV’s, drill rigs and supporting infrastructure.
New Zealand Offshore Services operates from its strategically located office at "Maritime House" 30, Centennial Drive, New Plymouth. The office is modern and well equipped providing a good focal point for offshore and seagoing related projects. The office is sufficiently large to accommodate client's staff, visiting superintendents or other overseas personnel who may require short-term office space. Storage facilities are available in the port area, and if greater space is required we can arrange for this to be made available.
We also have satellite support and load out shorebases in Nelson and the deep-water facility at Shakespeare’s Bay, Picton.
